Season 3, Episode 8

Preparing the Booze & The Moon Water

In this episode we talk about the pull for nesting as we enter into the darker part of the year. Mars is in still retrograde, so it’s a great time for brewing 4 thieves. We discuss a great way to reduce plastic. As always we have a tarot reading, and a spell of the day from the fabulous PNW Priestess MareLin.

Episode 45, Season One, A Last Fling Fond Fare-thee-well But Not Forever, June 2, 2018

Thank you all so much for sticking with us through the last year. This is our last episode until autumn, when we will come back after our summer hiatus all recharged and ready to rumble. In the meantime, we still have nearly an hour of Country Dweller Discussions. We get a visit from the Temperance card; we talk Hedge Witch tips; The moon is waning gibbous in Aquarius and what does that mean for you and your magic. We connect with festivals and preview that we’ll be at Puget Sound Pagan Pride on October 28. We make Pizza Tacos during Cauldron Cooking and Pay It Forward. As always we leave you with some Old Ones Wisdom and a Spell of the Week.

Eight of Cups is our Tarot Card of the Week. To hear the reading as it applies to this week, listen to the podcast below.

Greetings for a Prosperous and Happy New Year!

We’re back!

As promised.

This week’s episode we are visited once again from the Eight of Cups. We learn about the energies of Frau Holle and how she might help us have a rewarding 2018. The Moon Cycle is in Waning Gibbous and we talk about the Star Sapphire. Kings and Feasting and then our Pagan Connection with Angela from Crescent Moon Gifts in Tacoma. We make Chicken Pizza — becasue that holiday weight can’t wait. And The Heavens A’Fire – Episode 8 – August 5, 2017

The Tarot Card of the Week is the Queen of Pentacles. Listen to the Podcast to hear MareLin’s reading.

Greetings Listeners! Thank you and welcome to all our new listeners. Listen for special shout-outs to those who took the plunge early to follow us.

This week we are visited again by the Queen of Pentacles, and we’re very curious how our listeners would compare and contrast her first visit to this week’s visit. What do you think?

Here is a list of websites for practicing your own moon phase interpretations:

We move this week from the sexual influences of Scorpio in our skies to the Confliction of Capricorn. Listen to the pull to be out in nature (whether its a balcony, patio, a city park, trails, or deep in the wilderness). We’re visited by the Corn/Lightning Moon and Matchsticks of Fire occur at 11:11 a.m.

Our cauldron cooking focuses on Stuffed Poblanos, we figure out gardening to-dos for August, and we get our groove on with musical self care.

The Five Ws and One H – Episode 1 – Country Dwellers Podcast

Just some of the ley lines in our backyard.

Greetings one and all!
And we mean all.

First we want to thank all those that helped make this release possible, especially to The Viking and Babe. Without your support, none of this journey would be possible.

The Tarot Card of the Week is the Queen of Pentacles. Listen to the Podcast to hear MareLin’s reading.

This episode we talk about who we are, why we’re doing this podcast, where we are, what we plan to accomplish with this podcast, when you can find the podcast and deeper information than what we discuss on-air, and how all of this came to be.

Our podcast may be found on Google Play, iTunes, and Soundcloud, just look for “Country Dwellers.”  If there’s a particular podcast portal you’d like us to also be available to, please let us know in the comments.

Here are the links as promised referred to in our first podcast:

*Leylines

A special treat for our inaugural podcast: Raspberry-Infused Mimosa

*Recipe of the Week:  Raspberry-Infused Mimosa – Ingredients:  One shot (jigger) of Orange Juice, One shot of Pineapple Juice, Two shots of Prosecco or Champagne, Three fresh raspberries per glass. Mix liquids together in one glass, add fresh raspberries. Enjoy.

*Gardening Zones and Gardening to do in June

*Natural Pesticides for Rose Bushes: Two parts water, one part dish soap (not detergent), one part lemon juice. Feel free to add a little garlic and cooking oil, too, if you like. Spray on the aphid infested part of the plant. The force of the water from your sprayer is part of the control method, so don’t be afraid to really soak the little buggers.

*Uncle Ian’s

Hope you enjoy the podcast. Please leave any comments or questions here and we’ll do our best to answer them either here or on the podcast.
